In a day and age where it is becoming increasingly more difficult to get the straight truth, people are turning to alternative media. There is a wide range of sources available when one considers pod casts, written, audio, and video blogs, online alternative newspaper's, etc... and they aren't owned by media corporate giants. Let's face it, the main stream media spins the news and creates some drama where there is none or at least very little. There are misdirects everywhere we look and it is now affecting the ratings of some of the main stream media companies. The focus of this short piece is on CNN. It's very interesting to note that with the near economic crash in 2009, various bills and executive orders being passed and signed etc... people are becoming more and more aware of the impact the Internet is having our ability to know the real facts of what is happening in our world.
