It comes with continuing awareness that I write this little piece. The awareness that everything is happening as it is suppose to happen. Acceptance that no matter what, no matter how good, no matter how bad, no matter how happy or sad or any other polarity or duality I can think of; everything is going to be alright. We all have divinity within us through the undeniable gifts from God. We have the ability to do greater things than we ever have thought or imagined we could do. This woman's experience is a testament to that and each day is another chance to show love to ourselves and to all who are around us. Too many good things in this life despite all the bad being publicized in the main stream news. The Keystone Pipeline: Good or Bad?
While I'm not fully aware of all the details of the Keystone Pipeline I do know the essentials of the opposing views. This article gives some support to the idea that the pipeline would cause increases in prices at the pump instead of decreasing them; whereas proponents state the opposite. The notion that prices would increase at the pump seems to be gaining somewhat of a consensus based on my recent tooling around the Internet. I'll have more on this as time goes on and try to monitor the news on this issue.
Maggie's Vegan Bakery
For those of you our there looking for a good vegan bakery, your search is ended at Maggie's Vegan Bakery on W.25 street in Cleveland, Ohio. The business opened up in August of 2011 and is gaining popularity. I bought a chocolate chip, cranberry, pineapple, nut cookie, a peanut butter chocolate brownie, and a zucchini muffin. All I can say is I am impressed and Maggie's Bakery is on it's way to becoming a staple over in the Ohio City area. Just walking distance from the West Side Market makes for a pleasant experience that's just minutes away. Great way to satisfy the sweet tooth in you and it's healthy too. Project 10:10:10 – Pill or Perception?
While I haven't viewed this documentary entirely as of yet, I have read the synopsis. I'm just a little excited at the prospect of sharing this information with everyone so I'm posting this article now. This documentary delves into the concept that we, as humans, have way more control over our lives in terms of stress and illness, with our very own minds. Our minds are gifts from God and can change the way we look at the lives we live each day, in a way that can transform us. So, take the journey, watch this documentary, and get a glimpse of the awesome power our minds have...
The myth of the eight-hour sleep
There have been many and widely varying opinions on sleep architecture. While many of these opinions have somewhat become the standard school of thought in terms of our sleep architecture, this particular article puts things in perspective from a historical standpoint. It delves into a little known fact that sleep wasn't always an eight hour experience. This is a very good read and gives an alternative perspective on something we do every night when we close our eyes.

If You Take Oral Vitamin D You MUST Avoid Making This Serious Mistake
Contrary to popular belief, all vitamin D pills are not created equal. Read this comprehensive article on vitamin D by Dr. Mercola and get informed on a vitamin that is crucial to our well being.
People who live in the north and north-east and north-west sections of the country should pay special attention to this. We in the north experience winter and much of the sun gets blocked out that gives us our vitamin D. Because of this it's good to get informed and be aware of the signs of vitamin D deficiency and how vitamin D is beneficial to many body functions. I've also included links to sites that talk about vitamin D and how it works in the body, how deficient many of us are, and the symptoms of vitamin D deficiency.

$5 Gallon Gas Soon In Chicago, Other Cities
How possible this really is, I'm not sure. However, there is at the very least a lot of chatter in the main stream and alternative media stream sources regarding oil prices. Oil is currently at $105.79 as I type this sentence based on the on of the links below. This is based on the ongoing oil embargo towards France and European Union nations. Iran says it may extend the embargo to other cities in the EU as well. It's getting a little dicey but an alternative opinions on this subject are not to be found, at least in my preliminary searches thus far. Folks, if you have the money, try and fill up the old gas tank in your vehicle tonight if possible because a twenty cents increase is coming tomorrow at least for the south. Whether this will truly affect the northeast section of the country is speculation for now at least. I would however, fill up as often as possible while the prices are somewhat lower. Please see the links below to get a little informed.

Cleveland celebrates Fat Tuesday and Paczki Day
It has long been a Polish tradition to have the calorie laden donut like dessert called the Paczki
on Fat Tuesday. There are virtually every flavor or filling you can think of. Although the prune, lemon, custard, cherry, and raspberry seem to be the most common.
on Fat Tuesday. There are virtually every flavor or filling you can think of. Although the prune, lemon, custard, cherry, and raspberry seem to be the most common.
As many of you already know the tradition started long ago as a Carnival Celebration beginning on or shortly after the Epiphany and is before Ash Wednesday. Ash Wednesday is the beginning of the Lenten season and is a time when many Christians will symbolically give up or sacrifice something in prayer. This has deep spiritual significance and is done to renew their commitment to baptism.
On a lighter note and in the tradition of Fat Tuesday I have bought my six pack of Paczkis in blueberry, cherry, and custard flavors. Can't wait to taste one of those later on as they are waiting gently in the box on my kitchen counter top. Wait, what's that? I think I hear one calling now. LOL
I will be taking part in the Lenten season by giving up beef and pizza; both of which aren't healthy for me anyway. There are times when I really have a taste for both these foods so it will be a challenge. However, I'm sure I will remain strong in my endeavor to sacrifice and give up these foods. In parting I wish you all a Happy Fat Tuesday...

The Right to Roam
In a day and age where it becomes more and more important to establish rights for everyone, this documentary explores the rights of a people called the Roma. With the establishment of the European Union and rights legislation, these people seek a place to live and thrive. The majority of these people are originally from Romania and Bulgaria. This documentary exposes the ins and outs of trying to find their way to a new and better life. I encourage everyone to view this as it embodies the spirit of the right for all to exist and the right to make a way for themselves.

Italian Police Seize $6 TRILLION in Fake U.S. Bonds
This article just in February 18th. SIX TRILLION DOLLARS of fake bonds?! Wow, can that be done on that massive of a scale without the operation being found out? Hmmm. Something seems fishy here and there is a school of thought that this story is just that; fishy. This is interesting from the standpoint that at the beginning of the country's economic woes, there was 134 billion dollars confiscated at the Italian/Switzerland borders. This occurred in 2009 and the U.S. Treasury seized the bonds and NEVER confirmed one way or the other that these bonds were real or fake. Fox news via Glenn Beck tried to get confirmation several times to no avail. I've attached the link to this article below and a link to the original 2009 Fox video reporting on the 134 billion in seized bonds. I know what we're hearing from main stream media about the 6 trillion seized bonds but where would anyone get rid of such a massive amount of fake bonds? Does something not seem right here or is it just me. I ran across this little blurb at one of the alternative media sites that really try to get at truth instead of spinning news as we know the MSM can do so well. "As with the May Flash Crash, and the $134 billion in "counterfeit" Bearer Bonds seized from two Japanese individuals who were attempting to smuggle them into Switzerland from Italy, this $6 Trillion in "fake" bonds story would be forced down the memory hole as well, were it not for the alternative media."

Grammy Awards 2012: What was your favorite performance?
I guess the title of this article may be a bit misleading as I'm ready to give my opinion of the Grammy Awards show itself rather than solely my opinions of the performances. I watched the Grammy Awards Show and all in all I'd give it a B. I say this because, albeit there were some extremely good performances (i.e. Adelle, Sam Bruno, Taylor Swift, Tony Bennett, Jennifer Hudson, etc...), I think it fell short in terms of trying to have too much appeal to everyone. Maybe I'm just getting older and don't appreciate some things. However, the performance by Nikki Minaj, some Mickey Mouse glowing head acting like a DJ, and some others I can't remember, just left me shaking my head and wanting to turn the T.V. off and go to bed. In addition to that the honoring of the recent deaths of Whitney Houston, Etta James, and not so recent Gil Scott Heron, fell far short in my estimation. I think this show is WAY more about glitz and glamour than about REAL artistry and music. Surly as stars of music we're going to have the glitz and glamour aspect to things but it's seems that it's becoming more and more the primary focus than what the Grammy Award Show was created for in the first place. So, is this just Grammy remorse I'm experiencing base on some contrived ideas of what I think the Grammy Award Show should be? Hmmm.

Nissan releases official footage of Juke-R supercar street race in Dubai
Check out this little Juke-R Super Car race some of the best super cars on the market. Great stuff... Was this a setup or was it a real race. Either way kind of exciting to see this little thing race Lambo, Ferrari, and a Mercedes. This Juke-R boasts a 480 hp Godzilla engine that seemed to be enough to overtake these cars. Wonder what the cost of one of these things is? Check it out...

Hyndai Has Come a Long Way
The Korean automobile manufacturer Hyundai has walked a tight rope of sorts in the beginning and several times though out it's existence. It was first introduced to American in 1985 via the Excel model. I remember this particular car and model well because I have a sister who bought one brand new. It was a five speed and the acceleration was sluggish at best. The ride was hard and sloppy and the only redeeming quality I can think of, was that at least it beat walking to work. Hyndai was so bad that the company faced the possibility of bankruptcy as late as the year 2000. Now take all of this into consideration when you realize what they've been able to accomplish in 2010 and 2011. This was taken from Automotive News: "Hyundai sales totaled 645,691 units in 2011, up 20 percent from the record set in 2010. Hyundai's share of the market climbed a half a point to 5.1 percent. The brand sold 50,765 in December for a 13 percent gain from December 2010". It seems they are poised to do the same in 2012. However, the U.S. and world economies could have an adverse impact on that happening. The whole lineup has changed and become one of the most enjoyable, exciting cars to drive. The company is giving the Japanese car makers a real run for their money. Not just in new car sales but also in the certified pre-owned segment of the automobile market. This is huge when you think about how Honda and Toyota have been the leaders for a very long time over their American competitors. Saying all of this is difficult as it is becoming more and more important to by American products. That being said, we must give credit where credit is due. Hyndai has sustained itself and survived with a product that is sufficiently competitive in today's market.

US Forces GM Seeds into the Hands of European Famers
While I was compiling information and links for my last posted article on infertility and GMO foods, I ran across this little nugget recently happened. This speaks to the text before the second link I posted in my following my last article. Although this subject matter is looked at in one of my previous article postings, I feel it's important enough to bring up again. This may funnel into a specifically titled blog to handle the GMO issues and how they affect all of our lives and the environment. This is a must read.

Infertility and GMO foods
The link has been made compellingly made between Infertility in humans and GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms) or GMO food. In addition, GMO foods have also affected the fertility of animals such as cows and pigs. If GMO foods are affecting animals as well as humans, then that is a double whammy of sorts when it comes to humans. The example would be that many of us eat meat (i.e. beef, pork, etc...) and then what the animal eats is transferred through the human digestive system. Many people chose to walk away and ignore this increasingly malicious problem that is affecting the foods we eat. However, none of these links I've posted put GMO food in a positive light. We are getting closer and closer to a tipping point in our favor in terms of refusing to ingest these GMO foods. This would be a victory on a grand scale against a world wide dominant corporation by the name of Monsanto. It does require at least two actions on everyone's part though. These actions are getting informed, and calling your representatives to tell them, that at the least, you want GMO food labeling so you can have free choice. I've given four links to go to. The first link is the one that addresses the fertility factor. So read, get informed, and find out what you can do to reduce or eliminate your exposure to GMO foods.

US Embassies used Romania as Trojan horse to force GMOs into Europe - Wikileaks. Although, this did happen, it was the food chains and food industry in the EU that ultimately refused GMO seeds and foods; not the government. Now comes the US through the US Ambassador to France. The US Ambassador through US policy and, in my estimation, prodding by Monsanto, are using military style trade tactics to force the GMOs on France and the rest of the EU. Governments that carry out corporations wishes based on profit margins are not working for the people's interest.

Redbox teaming up with Verizon to stream movies
Well, the battles continue for video streaming. Currently RedBox and Verizon are either in negotiations or have concluded negotiations with a plan that could possible unseat (Say it ain't so) Netflix. Hmmm, Is that possible? It's going to be interesting to see how things unfold in the coming months and years if this thing catches on. It will be a subscription based service and we'll just have to wait to see how affordable it may be and how much content they will have.

Too Much Salt? Keep the Chips … Hold the Bread!
I read this article about the CDC saying that potato chips are better than bread now because of the salt content. My response was this.
Better yet, get rid of them both. The human body needs neither one of those to survive. Instead, use unprocessed sea salt with minerals already in it naturally. It's not salt that causes high blood pressure or is bad for it; it's processed salt that is bad for us. We need two teaspoons of salt per day for good blood flow. People are going to the ER for sodium deficiency and dehydration because of low salt and no salt products. Eat unprepared foods and add veggies and fruits to your diet. These studies promote the lesser of two evils. The FDA and the USDA are full of crap with the food pyramid. Start doing the research folks and don't listen to this main stream ideology that has gotten us in poor health in the first place. THINK FOR YOURSELVES and research the information. I'm just sayin...
In addition, I also responded with this.
Bottom line is the CDC, FDA, and USDA have known this for decades! It's not because of some epiphany or revelation due to some brand new study. What they do is create the problem and then provide a solution as a guise that they are really trying to help folks. I'm not gonna put them down completely because they do provide a service. However they go about it back asswards. In Europe they do study after study after study to make sure something is unequivocally safe before they let it out into the population. Our agencies however, let stuff out with minimal studies because profit is the name of the game. Once enough people get sick and/or die they then have meetings to see if it should be pulled off the market. What kind of logical sense does that make?! Now we have a U.S. Ambassador to France that is applying, with permission from the current U.S. administration, military style trade tactics to force GMO foods and seed from Monsanto on France and the European Union. What kind of government lets a corporation dictate how and what is done to one government by another?! Wake up people, things aren't what they seem to be. Study, research, listen to your own body, and quite eating the crap they are trying to shove down our throats. OK, I feel better now and I'm off my soap box. LOL What I say is the truth though. Please read the article at the link below and please comment...

Monsanto’s Roundup Triggers Over 40 Plant Diseases and Endangers Human and Animal Health
Monsanto has been a controversial corporation for the past three decades if not more. It's mainly due to a product they invented and patented called "Roudup". I will first state that I am NOT an expert in this area. Although, I have done a fair amount of reading and research into Monsanto, GMO foods, Roudup, and many other related subjects. That being said, and logically speaking, I don't see how this product Roundup can be so beneficial if plants, of any kind, have to be genetically modified just to accommodate the product and it's uses. I was doing a little surfing and ran across this well written article by an author at The Institute for Responsible Technology. This is a lengthy read so you may have to approach it in segments. Nevertheless it's very informative and comprehensive.

CLOSE READING: The Saudis, A Twitter Investment, And The End Of Arab Spring?
An eye brow raising point of interest. Ran across this one listening to a guy who administrates the site Whowhatwhy.com. Prince Al-waleed has purchased $300 billion to get a piece of Twitter. This is the same guy who purchased a substantial piece of FOX News as well. Same guy who donated money to the Bush's shortly after 911. It's all very interesting from a standpoint of contemplating what kind of a vehicle Twitter really is. This article, at the link below, addresses much of this and the impact on Arab life and oppression in that country. We may think none of world events affect us but nothing could be further from the truth... All comments welcome...

What FACEBOOK and GOOGLE are Hiding from world.
This is at the very least, eyebrow raising. Should these major players on the Internet be adjusting our searches under the guise of personalizing our experience. On the surface, this seems perfectly innocent. Though, should the filter bubble be utilized to affect what we're able to see and hear based on our queries and/or searches on the Internet through Google, Yahoo, and the like. I'll admit that I don't know a lot about all of this. The questions come to mind though. Are we not capable of conducting our own searches and go where we want to go without intervention? The thought that this is all about the money seems to be more and more the flavor of the day. I mean, I and others pretty much always knew this but it's getting so saturated into our psyches that we start to see nothing wrong with it all. Everything is balance and we need the tool that is the Internet to have that same balance. Please leave comments.

Playing God
Say what you will about this documentary and the idea that something of a hybrid has been created with science. There are compelling arguments on both sides of this debate. I will remain neutral until I see some comments and I'll state my position then. It's all very interesting but even the most open minded of us may have some reservations. Please view the entire documentary before commenting. I thank you and enjoy your moments...

Use This Superfood to Help Remove Mercury From Your Tissues in Weeks
This is an excellent and comprehensive article by Dr. Mercola on ridding the body of Mercury and other heavy metals. Those with any immune based illness (i.e. MS, Parkinson's Disease, Lupus, etc...) read if this "Super Food" will increase your symptoms with your immune based illness. Using Color as Identification
We weren't called black, white, red, yellow, etc... until the 15 to 16 hundreds. Where have we gotten the idea that we are the color that has been given us. Black, white, red, yellow, brown, do not define us or say anything about our culture or how valuable we are all as human beings. I ran across this little piece and whether it's right, wrong, or indifferent, I identify with it.

The River
A new series on ABC called "The River" looks to be a good view. Steven Spielberg is at it again. I'm no expert on whether a T.V. show is going to make it or not, that is for sure. However, this particular show produced by Spielberg, looks to have the weight, story line, and supporting cast to be renewed by the network after it's first season is over. So, check out the trailer and see what you think.
