Why 720p is Better Than 1080i
This is a useful little piece of information. Especially since many of the specifications have a tendency to be meaningless to the average consumer. This is a good video that gives a basic understanding of high definition or HD. I personally have a 1080p Vizio which functions as my T.V. and my computer monitor. My computer is only 720p capable and I'm hard pressed to tell the difference in 720p and 1080p. They are both ridiculously clear and I will be getting a blue ray DVD burner eventually. Until then I'm looking into getting a Sony 1080p up scaling DVD player and will only cost me $40. So, when you go out shopping for that new flat screen, remember the differences in 1080p, 1080i, and 720p high definition specifications. It could save you some money.
